In 2009, Aura Candles was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to craft candles using only the finest ingredients. We started with natural, vegan, and non-toxic wax, lead-free wicks, and custom-blended fragrances that are phthalate-free and cruelty-free. Each candle is thoughtfully named to reflect the unique "aura" or personality of its fragrance.
What began as a small kitchen project soon expanded to a garage, and today, we’re proud to call our Carlsbad warehouse home. Despite our growth, every candle is still hand-poured, hand-labeled, and packaged with the same meticulous care, making each one as special as the aura it embodies.
Over the past 15 years, while we've evolved in many ways, our dedication to quality and care remains at the heart of everything we do.
Meet ChelseaHi there! I’m Chelsea, the co-founder and owner of Aura Candles. I once navigated the world of personal finance, but after becoming a mom, my journey took a creative turn. My love for healthy living, great music, and fragrances inspired me to launch Aura. Creating this business has been a dream come true.
